CHILD PROTECTION NETWORKS

The child protection networks CPNs were established in Al Bass, Burj Al Shamali and Rashidiya camps through a joint initiative of Terre des Hommes, Lausanne and the different actors inside the refugee camps and gatherings Tyre area, South Lebanon, especially the local and international NGOs, including UNRWA, popular and civil committees, security forces and clerics (religious leaders). The aim of these networks is to coordinate efforts and invest available resources to build a safe environment for children and empower them to achieve their best interests with the participation of all parties starting from the child and his/her family.

PALESTINIAN DISABILITY FORUM, Lebanon

The Palestinian Disability Forum (PDF) is a coordination framework that seeks to develop the levels of networking and interaction among local NGOs, international bodies, target groups, and other stakeholders in order to achieve social justice for PwDs. This is done through advocacy for the rights and concerns of PwDs and empowering them to participate actively in society. The principles and values that lead the work of the Palestinian Disability Forum PDF is adherent to human rights, the rights of PwDs, and the values of justice, transparency, participation, and development.
